Castellums förvaltningsresultat förbättrades med 23 %

Förvaltningsresultatet för första halvåret 2000 uppgick till 200 Mkr, en ökning med 23 % jämfört med motsvarande period föregående år.
 
Resultatet efter skatt för januari-juni 2000 uppgick till 223 Mkr, motsvarande en vinst om 4,46 kronor per aktie.
 
Efter rapportperiodens utgång har aktieinlösen om 700 Mkr slutförts och återköp av egna aktier påbörjats.

Förvaltningsresultatet, d v s periodens resultat exklusive vinster från fastighetsförsäljningar, jämförelsestörande poster och skatt, uppgick till 200 Mkr, vilket är en förbättring med 23 % mot samma period 1999. Denna förbättring har uppnåtts främst genom ökade hyresintäkter, men resultatet har också påverkats positivt av genomförda förvärv och investeringar i befintliga fastigheter.

Det redovisade resultatet efter skatt för första halvåret 2000 uppgick till 223 Mkr jämfört med 176 Mkr under motsvarande period föregående år. Periodens resultat per aktie uppgick till 4,46 kronor. Kassaflödet inklusive vinst från fastighetsförsäljningar var 375 Mkr motsvarande 7,50 kronor per aktie.

Under första halvåret har fastigheter sålts för 406 Mkr med en vinst om 114 Mkr jämfört med 83 Mkr under motsvarande period föregående år. Periodens förvärv och investeringar uppgick till 678 Mkr mot 770 Mkr under januari-juni 1999.

Castellum´s income from property management improved 23 % during the first six months

 
Income from property management for the first six months amounted to SEK 200 million, a 23 % improvement compared with the same period previous year.   

Net income after tax for January-June 2000 was SEK 223 million, equivalent to SEK 4.46 per share.

After the end of the reporting period a redemption of shares of SEK 700 million has been concluded and repurchases of shares have begun.

The income from property management, i.e. net income for the period excluding capital gain from property sales, items distorting comparison and tax, amounted to SEK 200 million, an improvement of 23 % compared with the same period previous year. The earnings’ improvement has been achieved chiefly through increased rental income. Acquisitions and investments in existing properties have also contributed to the increase in profit.

Net income after tax for the first six months 2000 was SEK 223 million compared with SEK 176 million during the corresponding period previous year. The earnings per share amounted to SEK 4.46. Cash flow including capital gains on property sales totalled SEK 375 million, equivalent to SEK 7.50 per share.

During the first half of 2000, properties were sold for a total of SEK 406 million, with a capital gain of SEK 114 million compared with SEK 83 million during the corresponding period previous year. The acquisitions and investments during the period totalled SEK 678 million against SEK 770 million during January-June 1999.
